Jonas's artistic talents are showing once again in his latest masterpiece done just this morning. He was inspired by his new necktie that he got for church. It's a stripling warrior.

NEW BABY

Obviously I haven't updated this in a few weeks. We've been a little busy. Adam Jennings Guffey finally arrived at 2:46am December 2nd after mom spent three and a half days in labor. He started showing signs of respiratory distress shortly after he was born and ended up with pneumonia which kept him in the hospital for an extra week. He is at home now though and is doing great! He is getting more love than he ever could have thought possible and is constantly fought over when someone says the phrase, "Can I hold the baby,mom?" Everyone has to have a turn, even, and sometimes especially, Lydia. So here are the pics I have so far.

The Kids

I am finally putting new pictures of the kids up here. After all my promises of the Halloween pictures I still haven't gotten them from Jason so at this rate they should get up here sometime before Valentines Day. Anyway, hope you like these. Personally I think they are adorable, but then again I may be just a little predjudiced. Jonas 5; Adrianna 4; Emily 6; Preston 2; and Lydia 1.

Update on Halloween Pics

I will have pictures of halloween up here, but I am waiting for them to get sent to me from Jason's computer. I didn't have the right software to download them onto mine from the camera. I promise it will be soon!

Jonas and Emily's School Pictures

These aren't very clear because they are just the proofs, but I thought you might like to see them anyway. Emily's wide eyes and raised eyebrows make me giggle everytime and Jonas is just himself. I'm ordering the actual pics this week. We are having pictures taken of all the kids next week as well so pretty soon there should be more. Enjoy!

This Week's Update

jonas lost his first tooth yesterday. That is the big news of the week. It was very exciting for him and the tooth fairy left him a whole dollar. The only other big news is that we've all been sick. Again. I am partially blaming this on the fact that Emily and Jonas are going to a much larger elementary school (at least 5 classes per grade k-5 and other special programs, pre-k ect.) and are exposed to a lot more germs. We are trying to combat this in every way we know how including being extra vigilant in hand washing and other common sense things and I think we're finally making progress, either that or our immune systems are starting to get stronger. Hopefully both.

Anyway other than the colds we're doing well. The kids are all very excited for Halloween of course. This is the first time we've lived in a close subdivision and everyone is looking forward to trick or treating. I will put up pictures of the kids in halloween costumes next week.

Jason and I have been pretty busy this last week with new callings. Our ward split and we're in a new one now. Jason is the Elder's Quorum President and I am second counselor in Relief Society. We've had more meetings the last couple weeks than in several months previous. Anyway all is well or at least normal (for us) I just wanted to give you a quick update.

Our Family

This is our family. It was taken at Jesse & Kelly's wedding in July and is the most recent picture we have of all of us. (Usually one of us parents is taking the picture.) Jason is holding Lydia, then there is Shiloh, 4 1/2 months pregnant, then Emily. In front, Jonas is in the tux and cowboy hat, then Adrianna and Preston. Aren't they all just adorable!
